Is this what i think it is? *warning TMI*

On tuesday this week i got a faint + on a test, it was faint but i could see it.

My AF was due on wednesday.

I started cramping, but it was very very mild from monday which continued until well, now...

I started spotting yesterday afternoon.. and then this morning the bleeding has gotten VERY heavy.

I went to the loo before and well, i nearly fainted after i had wiped .. on the toilet paper were 2 huge big 'blobs' (for the want of a better word)... they were about 3cm's long and 2 cm's wide... (they scared the S out of me).

They were like liver/kidney bits but darker and more soft...

Being I still have sore throbbing boobs, and nausea (which i never have while AF is here), and mixed with being one day late, faint + on tuesday, would i be right to assume this is an early loss????

I am not surprised as i O'd 4 days before we DTD which would of resulted in this pregnancy... so the egg would of been well and truly too tired to have taken!

    What do you think?

I have never passed anything like this in my life so... and being i dont normally get cramps BEFORE af, and i never have sore boobs or nausea DURING AF.. nor have it this heavy..... its all i can think is going on!

Id love your thoughts/experiences.. and i by no mean wish to insult or upset anyone... i hope i have come across in the way i intended which is to just get some help/advice

It could be an early loss, it's hard to know for sure. I had a similar thing happen to me in August, I got a BFP and then two days later started to bleed, unfortunately it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy.

Maybe go to your GP and request a BT? That's what I did just so I knew for sure.

I hope everything is all OK.

It's pretty much the same thing. I hate the term chemical pregnancy actually, sorry I used it!

whats the difference between a chemical pregnancy and an early loss?

until a heartbeat is detectable (around 5.5 weeks at the earliest) it is considered a chemical pregnancy rather than a miscarriage. it is still an early loss - its just the way the medico's classify it as the embryo hasn't developed any organs or anything....

FWIW - it sounds like a chemical pg - it's up to you whether you attend the GP for BT"s or not. everyone is going to be different on this one. for me, i KNEW each time when i was pg - jsut from body changes etc - and the bleeding was always much different. if you were pg, there is nothing they can do at all - just be prepared that your cycle may be out of whack for a while

    Hi Missy Moo Moo,

Sorry that you are going through this at the moment.
I would, as the other ladies have suggested to go to your GP, who should sent you for a HTG blood test. This will determine that you are/were pg. They may suggest an ultrasound and then another HTG blood test to see what is happening with your level (will increase if still pg, will decrease if a loss)
Take care. I hope all is ok.

Thats the thing BG, i felt PG. And looking at the huge blobs on the paper, i just felt it. I felt that i was looking at what could of been #3. Dramatic i know, but thats just what i felt.

And this bleeding IS very different. It is bright red, which when my AF comes it never is bright red. It is always so dark, like dead blood which by all means is what an AF is...

So, i almost dont think i want a BT to conrim a pregnancy i wont have

ETA: off to the dr now, they could squeeze me in.

I'm glad you got into your Dr, hopefully you will know your answer either way.

I requested a BT with mine as I'd had a suspected ectopic pregnancy in the past and I just wanted to rule it out.

    Take care.

    Missy,
    *HUGS*
Thats how my m/c was. I was about 6 weeks and then I got dark blood and then heavy red blood with clots - but I had very very bad cramps - so much so that I was doubled over in pain.
I also had lots of bleeding in this preg and now Bella is 8 weeks old. I would go to your doctor and see if they can shed some light.
