    (TMI warning)

I'll join in - would it be normal for me to still be getting something similar? It's not blood, but I am getting stringy, mucousy "stuff", usually with a little bit of brownish discharge...

Yes darling heart it's not unusual for this to happen post delivery. After some of my births that happened as well. Your body has been through a big process of birth & it takes time for this to settle. Sometimes (often I would suggest) it will take a while for your body to cycle normally again. I hope you are feeling okay Teni - which is such a stupid thing for me to say... I hope you are travelling as well as you can. You are in my thoughts often. Just this week I lit a candle for Ianto I dom't know why but you were both on my mind.

So, yes it's normal. So long as it doesn't smell, it's not itchy or hurting it is most likely to be part of te process of returning your body to post baby cycles. If you are concerned do see a practitioner...

I wasn't massively concerned, but I was planning to bring it up at my debrief with the ob in a couple of weeks just in case Thanks for easing my mind, it had disappeared for a day or two then came back again tonight so I wasn't sure...

And to answer your question, I'm doing fine. There are obviously parts where it hits me all at once, but for the most part I'm alright. I'm surprising myself with how I'm coping... If I was someone on the outside looking at me, knowing my history, I wouldn't have thought I could cope.

If you are ever struggling or ever in need please contact me by PM. I will always respond as quickly as I can. Just know that nobody was meant to deal with this pain alone & nobody should have to. Women are here to hold your hand & we will always do that.
