My opinion .... I consider value for money = low cost & works well. So I would have to say NEW SNUGGLERS.
Work it out as price / nappy & compare same size in diff brands. I did this & found New Snugglers & Kmart nappies to be the cheapest & they work.
New Snugglers pkt/box says better leakage protection, the Old Snugglers pkt/box says grip tabs but doesnt say better leakage protection, the old ones were absolute crap. I only tried the new ones after a girlfriend said they've improved & work similar to Huggies. They've even improved the new Snugglers a few times since I started using them, they have elasticised waist bands just like Huggies now too.
I find Huggies work well but are waaayyyyy too expensive, even when they're on sale (>30c/nappy).
I've also used Aldi newborn nappies & hated them but haven't tried the other sizes. They're not the cheapest either, snugglers are cheaper & work great, even for 12hr sleeps at night.
I've never tried Coles & Woollies nappies as they too are too expensive per nappy.
I've used Kmart brand nappies too, I would get snugglers or kmart brand depending on whatever's on sale. Lately Coles or Woollies have had half price sales on Snugglers so i stock up big time then.
Not too keen on BabyLove nappies & they too aren't cheap, they use all sorts of nappies at the childcare centre & I noticed these leave little crystals behind.
