We have only just started TT DD (first weekend just gone) and I understand that these things just take time but I have DH having a little cranky rant everytime she doesn't wee in the toilet (read: wees on the carpet).

We put her on the toilet, especially at the times when I know she needs to go, but she just doesn't wee in the toilet . She's a wriggly little thing so I can't get her to sit on the toilet for anything longer than 5 minutes even with distraction techniques like reading her a book (I don't want to force her). She usually gets off and within the next 5-10 minutes she's wet herself. Granted she comes running to me very quickly saying 'wee wee Mummy wee' - sometimes even mid wee.

Is it too early to expect a wee in the toilet? I just want to be able to tell DH that these things take time and give hime some more stories. Or do you think she just not quite ready? Honest opinions and stories welcome
