Mum says I was toilet trained during the summer after I turned 2 (i was a late Sept. baby, so I would have been around 2.3 - 2.6yo). She just let me run free, commando, and let me work it out.
Jazz is toilet trained, except at bedtimes (nap and night). She's also a cloth kid. We just let her go for it. Two days before she 'clicked' she flat out refused to sit on the potty (to the point of trying to throw the potty in the garbage bin). Two days later she started sitting on a potty, hasn't worn a nappy during the day since Wednesday October 27, and has had about 4 accidents since. That was less than a month ago. We did the same thing my parents my parents did: as soon as the weather was warming up we let her run around with no nappy or pants on, and she figured it out.
