Most babies have to have different newborn nappies to those for when they are older. My LO was 8lb 4oz and still didn't fit one size until after 4 months or so.

I have a newborn stash that i have thought of as an investment for future bubs, and to lend out to my brothers and others if they want to try cloth. Almost all were bought second hand. i have a combo of small MCNs (all-in-ones), small fitteds & small covers, and prefolds.

I know a few people though that use disposables when bub is little and go into MCNs when bub fits into mediums or OSFMs.
