DD (15 months) has started showing me she's aware of when she poos. She'll often toddle up to me and pull at my leg or raise her arms up to be lifted after she's done a poo. When I say to her "Isla, have you done a poo in your nappy?" she puts her hands on her bum. So I think she's starting to recognise the feeling of poo in her nappy. Nothing with wee, I think that would be harder to feel? How can I help her ease into TT readiness? I'm in now way eager to push her, but the fact that she's trying to tell me that she's pooed makes me wonder what else I can do. Just keep talking about it with her for now, pointing out when she has a clean nappy and how that feels, asking if she's done a poo etc? We have a potty and a toilet seat that has a toddler seat built in, is it worth sitting her on either for a few minutes a day and reading a book or something? Or just leave it for now? I've no idea how to start or even acknowledge this transition!
