Probably sounds like one of the most stupid questions ever but thought i'd put it out there. Does it make any difference which potty you buy and if so which one would you recommend?
Am planning on giving it a shot at toilet training DS at Christmas/New Year when both DH and I will be off on extended leave and should also be outside a lot more so accidents won't matter as much. He turned 2 at the end of September and appears to be showing a growing interest in using the toilet. His vocab is also improving so he will be able to communicate a lot clearer when he needs to go.
He told me the other day that he wanted to go pee pee and pointed to the toilet. I asked him if he wanted to sit on it and he nodded his head yes. Put him up but was too late as he was just finishing peeing in his nappy as i took it off him. A few minutes later (still minus his nappy) he went and got his stool pulled it up to the toilet and climbed up and tried to sit down on the toilet! So am taking it that he is getting closer us being able to start. But as I work four days I think it will be best to wait until we have an extended time period.
In the meantime however am going to get potty so he can go there if he chooses .... so any recommendations on which would you would choose. Will probably also get toilet seat in case that's what he would prefer to do and again clueless as to whether there is any difference between the different makes. Haven't even looked in the shops yet but was on here and thought i'd throw it out
