Jambin has had a red ring-shaped rash around his anus for the last few weeks. I had always assumed it was nappy rash, even though it's so close to his anus that the nappy wouldn't actually touch that part of his skin.
Then, last night, I was reading Pinky's '100 ways to calm the crying' and she mentions a red ring around the anus as being a possible sign of food allergies.
We are having difficulties with breastfeeding at the moment, weight loss, and major unsettledness, which the paed thinks may be reflux. So Pinky's comment has got me wondering if there might be other issues at play.
