Hey Organic girl, (love your username) From when ds was 2 weeks I used bamboo prefolds (some terry and some fleece) with a microfleece stay dry liner on top in Newborn size Baby Beehinds covers which I found was the cheapest way for us and they are quicker to dry than all in one MCN's. I had every colour cover, some people suggested that you only needed a few covers but I liked having heaps so that I could use 4-5 a day, they are no hassle washing and drying so I liked to change them often. I also got a few cushi tooshies which a cute minki ones and I bought about 18 of the cheapies from ebay (the china ones). They fit ds really well, I love the bright colours and we haven't had any leaks. They didn't fit well until about 6 months but up until 4 months he fitted into the prefolds and NB size covers anyway so we had a month or so in spossies while he grew into them. I can also put the bamboo prefold in them instead of the microfibre boosters if I want more absorbency. I still have ds in a huggies overnight and I'll often put one on him when we go out but come summer he'll be in nothing but a cute as MCN all the time as he shakes his little tooshie around the neighbour hood
