I know with my DS we have just been letting him have free bum time, and I tell him to tell me when he needs to do a wee. He doesn't really come to me and ask to go to the toilet, but I am constantly asking him. He's not ready for #2's on the toilet yet, coz if I leave his nappy off around the time he usually does his daily poo, he just doesn't do one....he'll sit on the toilet and fluff, but that's about it.

I have no idea whether I'm doing it 'right' or not, but just try anything. Maybe focus on wee's first, then two-ies! Just roll with it. She obviously doesn't like the feeling of a steamer in her pants!!!!!
