Yeah it's really heavy when it's wet! It will loose a bit of fluff with the first couple of washes. If you can give it a little whirl in the dryer that will help get rid of excess fluff too. Don't dry it the whole way in the dryer though or it will take ages

thanks raven, i'll keep it single then, i might try to edge it with binding tape, coz overlocking without an overlocker isn't really great. off to SL now to get some bias binding...
