Will make an effort to get some pics up when it's clean. I put them on and he wees and they're in the bucket before I think to take pics ;)

I asked on NC for some advice re the Honeyboy and was pointed to a great tutorial site. I have been there before but didn't take in too much at the time as it was before my nappy sewing days.

oh sammi thanks for that matie - have been sittin gon bum and sewing (wouldnt TRev be happy ;) ) found some goregous material at SL yesterday so thought - a bugger it.Going to lincraft tonight to buy some of the elepahnt fleece that I bought the other week. Lincraft also have anti pill pf for $4.99 metre...hmm wondering if they do layby on their material. OH OH I was so happy with myself to yesterday....I put alayby on at SL and I didnt realise but put some of that black and white skull material (pirate) on layby too. THANK GOD cause there was none left at all in SL.

Well after a bit of unpicking and cursing I finished my very first Honeyboy and am on the way to making another one.
I made the tabs a bit too long :rolleyes: so I've adjusted that bit so they meet in the middle better instead of crossing over. Will take pics and post on blog when I've finished the second one which I plan on doing this afternoon when playschool is on :D

LOL Yay For playschool! I have gotten so much donw while that is on LOL

YAY I did it! Got the Honeyboy! finished this afternoon. I'm stoked.

Jols maybe we can try and do that sewing meetup day that Melbel suggested ages ago and you can sew your own. I'm no way near good enough to take any $$$ but I'll be happy to help you out no charge I need the practice ;)

yep I am up for that you can all come here and I will set the trestles up in the big room. Just not this weekend or the next as I am involved in a theatre production. After that any weekend before the markets start back in september is cool with me. pick a date and let me know.

Just thought I'd share that I've changed the pic on my blog for one that shows the colour of the nappy better!

looks great as does the holden!!! people around the corner from us have an aqua and white one!! (i am a ford person, but she's a beauty!!)
