Ok Well i went to my first AP session yesterday morning and it was ok... Not really what i was expecting (i'll just copy and paste what i typed in my ttc thread)
AP was ok yesterday... Actually i dunno (lol) the guy just didnt seem to be what i expected iykwim which was kinda disappointing.... his ofice (if u would call it that) seemed very dodge and i just felt uncomfy .. So i went on the hunt for a new AP which is a local and i actually went into the office to see how it looked (i just called the place i went to yesterday to book an appt)( i know its not what the office looks like and all that but anyway) and they seem fantastic there... Also the lady that i talked to was preg so thats gotta be a good thing huh lol
I told her i was having a LAP done at the end of the month and she told me to wait till after the lap then start AP so now im soooooooo confused
What do u guys think i should do... am i just wasting money before the lap ?????
I guess i just want to do the right thing - Sorry that i rambled on abit
I actually just came in here to ask the EXACT same question! I'm having a lap in 4 weeks and I'm considering AP for the pain and cramping. I also get migraines. I'm keen to hear if I should wait until after the lap as well.
OK well, I survived my first AP app. and as I'm in a similar position, I mentioned about having a laproscopy. The AP didn't seem to be concerned about the procedure (lap), only the effects on the body.
The only reason for waiting is, if there is something medically wrong, it may need fixing and quite possibly you would be wasting your money.(as i probably did)
The AP suggested I have a HSG and a scan (less invasive than a lap) to make sure my tube wasn't blocked.
