I'm in an enquiring mood this morning & I was wondering if there are any specific herbs I should avoid in Labour.
I have a Tinderbox Headache Balm, which I figured could be used just as well for an aching back in labour (as well as keep the mozzies away!?), but I want to know if the ingredients may stall labour/reduce contractions. I've already read that one may (camphor), but would the rest if the herbs negate that?
The ingredients are: Rosemary, lavender, camphor, peppermint and chamomile (pure essential oils), organic sunflower oil and beeswax.
I also have the Tinderbox Childbirth Massage oil that contains: Cold pressed hazelnut oil, pure ess. oils of lavender, frankincense, geranium and ylangylang. Also real rose & jasmine oils (I don't know what the difference is between essential oils & 'real' oils...).
