Ok, I finally have it and have finally got the guts to read it. So here goes:

Nursery discharge weight 2190gms
Birth head cicumference 29.5cms (82nd %ile) Length 40.5cms
Head cicumference on discharge 32.5cms

Presentation was Cephalic OA, and membranes were ruptured for 344.75 hours before delivery (2 weeks 0.36 days)
Delivery occured by SVD
Apgar Scores assigned were 2 at 1 minute and 4 at 5 minutes of age
Resuscitation required was intubation + ECM + Adrenaline +/- NaHCO3
Cord Blood pH was 7.12, pCO2 80 and BE 2.7

OMG, Sally, even though I know Brendan is doing really well now, I'm almost in tears reading all that! I can't imagine how hard it must have been on you. You and your little boy are so brave.
Have you gone over his records with a Dr before? I believe that can be helpful - the debriefing is so important even after time has passed.

Thanks Snacks. I have only just received them and have some questions for his paed. Brendan's next Paed appt is on the 7th of May(1yr corrected).

I am sooo proud of him, I knew he was strong... but I had no idea of everything that was happening to him. It's so overwhelming at the time. I'm really glad I requested the info... it's helped answer some questions I had.

I can well imagine how overwhelming it would be, even now as you begin to look at it all let alone back then.
I hope the paed takes the time to work through it all with you, and that you can continue to heal from the experience.
