    Talking

    32 weeks today!!!!
We almost can't believe it! When we went into hospital, two whole months ago, the doctors told us to prepare for a tiny little prem and that if we got to 28 weeks, it would be a mirace.
Yet here we are, a whole MONTH further along than that!!!!!! A whole month further than Charlie!!!!
If this little one is born in the next couple of weeks ( which is pretty likely, but who really knows ) it is SUCH a different journey to Charlie's. Only minimal breathing support, tube feeds etc but likely to be transferred to our local hospital by 35 weeks and likely to be home by 36.
It is such a different place to be compared to where we started, such joy and excitement when we talk about his birth now, instead of fear and anxiety and mind numbing terror at the idea that we might not get a 'take home' baby at the end of it.
Thank you soooooo much for the belly belly support group, it's been sooooo amazing to be able to come on here and update our progress to people who have been through the premmie journey and can understand the fear we have felt. It's only good news from here we hope girls and looking forward to posting his birth announcement!

That is the most fabulous news. I have been wondering how you have been going and hoping all was well. Such a difference those weeks make to the little one's chances to coming out without any breathing support at all i would think. And that suckling reflex is so close to development. Yay.

    Congratulations!
