I had DD1 at 32 weeks (no reason known why she was early) and I had DD2 at 38 weeks (full term - elective cs).

My SIL had prem babies. Her second child was born at 35 weeks, her third 34 weeks and her fourth was born at 35 weeks.

I guess they just say that can be earlier just so you are aware but its not always the case.

Did they give you a reason for your DD's early arrival?

My risk is 50/50 and likely between 31-35 weeks, but I am planning on being in the 50% that goes to FT, or at the very least past DD's gestation!

DS1 was born at 33wks from ruptured membranes
chances of having another prem increaded to 20% with subsequent pregnancies
    DS2 was born at 38wks!
how many wks was your DD born at?
