My baby turns ONE tomorrow!

Not sure if this is really the right place for this, but I know you other Premmie mums will understand my feelings.

Today we held a party (have uploaded a few pics) for Brendan who turns one tomorrow. It went very well. But I cant help but think back to one year ago when I spent the entire day wishing my pre-term labour was just "trick labour", I can't help but think about everything or anything that I did "wrong" or could have done.... even though I know that there was nothing I could have done, I know that I did everything right.

On the plus side, my lil man is ONE!! Which I must say is a huge achievement! We have a developmental check on thurs.... so we will see how that goes!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes

I stuffed up my dates and his check-up is tomorrow.... he had his one yr needles on wed (poor lil man) 3 needles they gave him. It was soooo hard to sit there and watch it and then have him cry afterwards

Anyway will let you know tomorrow how he is going. I'm hoping to have busted the 9kg mark!
