My DD is 9 months old and I love my strider 4. Having said that [U]every[U] pram has it's pros and cons. I love the stability, height and look of the strider. Being reversible was fantastic when bubba was smaller and she slept in the bassinet for the first 6 weeks of her life (we didn't have to worry about portacots or bassinets when travelling). I also have a maclaren stroller which I use if we are going somewhere quickly (or need extra space in our boot) and use my strider as my walking pram beacuse it's very comfy. I walk on footpaths and the road and don't have any issues. The whole pram choice thing is very confusing and most people end up switching to a smaller pram when you hit the 2-3 age so just make sure you look at what's comfortable for you and you can take it in and out of your boot easily. Access to the basket under the pram is also something to look at. The strider's basket is excellent when using the seat, unfortunately it is very difficult when the bassinet is on, but I found I wasn't out for many big shopping trips at this stage anyway.
