Question Anyone bought a name puzzle and wooden box from Mooo?

I ordered a name puzzle for DD for her bday with a wooden box and 3 of the 4 puzzle pieces can stay on when i slide it in the box but the 4th letter has the knob at a different height and it won't go in the box.

If you have a name puzzle with a wooden box do you have to take the letters out to store it away?

    thanks

I would expect all the letters to fit inside the box.
I'd call their customer service line because I wouldn't be happy at all with my purchase.

I rang their info line and was told that it is not designed to fit in the box while the pieces are in the puzzle- and that it is just coincidence that 3 out of the 4 letters would fit this way. also coincidence that the pictures on the website also show the letters all having the knob at the same height (and therefore able to fit into the box).

i'm not happy but just wondering if it is just my puzzle or many of their puzzles.

I wouldnt buy from mooo. We had a bad experience with them. DD got given a name puzzle for her 1st bday; it got recalled as the knobs wernt safe and it took 4mths for them to send a replacement!! Customer service was terrible.
Not sure about their boxes sorry as we only got a puzzle.

I am also finding their customer service not so good. E-mails are ignored and i had to ring multiple times before i finally got to speak to someone who said he couldn't help me.

so, annoying cos i had really been looking forward to buying one of these.- they are not cheap either.

We have the same problem with ours but none of ours go in the box in place, but it doesn't really bother me, it just means that everytime we pull it out DD1 has to put it together.

Was thinking about getting one for DD2, but her name is a lot longer so more exy..... but I would like matching ones

I don't understand, are these the ones where the puzzle base is the lid of the box or does the base go inside the box?

Id have thought that if the letters do not fit in the box with the lid on, it defeats the purpose and I'd take it to consumer affairs as its not what's advertised. They show the letters inside the box you expect the letters to fit inside the box.

Or do I have it completely wrong?

Yeah, it's the one on the website with the pic of the 'Olivia' one. The lid of the box has the puzzle on one side and the Mooo label with all the bright pics on the other side. So the lid of the box is the puzzle base.

At one end of the box, there is a cut-out which can fit the puzzle piece knob through. So if you have the puzzle facing up and slide the box over the top, the knobs (which are higher than the puzze pieces) go through the cut-out and the lid should close all the way.

One of the letters in my puzzle has its knob at a different height so instead of going through the cut-out, it hits the end of the box and it can't close with the puzzle piece in place.

So the letters do all fit inside the box IF you take them out of the puzzle but i reckon they should also fit if they are in the puzzle- and it's only cos the knob is at the wrong height on one of the letters that they don't.

maybe i'm just being pedantic, i don't know now
