Agree with the other girls egg is fantastic for telling the temp and I love it but really doesn't throw any light into the room. I haven't got the clock yet but will keep it in mind when i need to teach the staying in bed lesson!

I'll have to come back on here tomorrow with the name/brand for you but we have a fabulous little hedgehog that lights up and changes colours that he now uses for light in his room at night. I charge it during the day and then it stays changing colours all night for him. It gives out enough light for him to be able to see his toys and books that he has in the cot with him. Its super cute as well . Quite small about the size of a coffee mug so he just takes it to bed with him. It was given as a gift so i'd have to google once I find the name where you could get it.
