LOL Ashlea I thought the same thing as I was busily painting the skirting half an hour ago... Green walls, green ivy, maybe green lights would be too much!! So white/clear it is

Aaron doesn't know all the things I'm doing & I just asked if he wanted to know or if he wanted a surprise. He said he'd like a surprise so once he paints for me tomorrow I'm going to spend next week decorating & give him a nice surprise hopefully next weekend!

ETA: Sorry about that Cai, I didn't see the 2nd page!

wow it sounds great sarah! you'll have to post a photo to show us the finished product!

i am going to do something for krystals room,i thought i'd tell you about it (we're renting so i have to be careful how i stick things to the wall) im going to paint a stretched canvas in purple, and stick fairies and things onto it, so its like a 3d scene. not sure exactly what im going to stick on yet... but i have the idea in my head!

Okey dokey here it is, all finished about half an hour ago We're just waiting on the piece-de-resitance to arrive, though poor Aunty Cai has been having all sorts of dramas with it. Anyway here it is pretty much done.

Hammock - Okay so nothing special, but I prettied it up a bit
    Hammock & Change Table
    Whole room looking at window
Rocking chair corner - I can see many nights spent here!
    Whole room looking from window
Close up of name - You can't see it too well, but the letters have ivy going across them & a few butterflies scattered.

I love the name letters too, did you make those yourself?

Love it Sarah! Though I'm a bit biased that was the colour of Darcy's room (very similar).
You've inspired me though, I'm off to get some fairy lights for the Dragon's room.
The letters are beautiful too...are they Cai's input?

Nope Kim Aunty Cai's input has been halted by silly people that make it difficult to get things delivered from overseas.

The letters i got from a lovely ebay lady that hand painted them I got a better close up of them now - here.

I keep looking at the wall with her name & think it's missing something..... I'm think an MDF cut out of a toadstool & a fairy would be perfect there. Now to find one is the hard part.....

wow! what a transformation....the room looks great!

I love the hammock!! and the name cut out! The mdf cut outs of the fairy and toad stools would like great here!!

you could even sponge ur roller blind with butterfly'fairy stencils....just a random idea but not sure how it would turn out or work!!

    You've done a great job!
