Another one who loves her bug here. I understand your concerns with the two parts... I also worried about it before hand, but in use found it quite handy. We kept ours in the car (it did take up most of the boot though ) and I loved that I could pop DS into the bassinet/seat straight away and then unfold the frame (which is easy when you get the hang of it), then I'd just connect the seat/bassinet with him in it. I'd imagine it could be a bit of a juggwit trying to unfold a peice pram while holding bubs and whatever else you have with you. The only time I could see it being a pain is if you were catching the bus or something and needed to fold it up to get on.
