Car that fits 3 car seats in the backseat, suggestions please..

Mods: Not sure if this is the best place for this thread. Please move if you think it would be more appropriate somewhere else.

It looks like dh and i will need to buy a new car as dh little runabout is starting to fall apart and it makes more sense to buy a new family car as my car will be a bit small for a family of four (although do-able). We would like to have three kids so we need a car that will fit three car seats along the back. I love my corolla so was thinking of getting a wagon around the same age as the one i have but im not sure if it will fit three car seats. We are also thinking of maybe getting a 7 seater but thinking it might not meet our budget.

Any suggestions and thoughts would be appreciated. TIA

We have 2 seats in a commodore and could fit a 3rd but would be squishy.

A friend has 3 car seats in a subaru outback squishy but do able.

I would love a Captiva but will need to wait a while!

We have managed 3 seats in a daewoo nubira, but only when we are desperate. We went with the 7 seater.

My friend has a Mazda CX9 and fits their three DD seats in it - might be a bit exy though

We have a Kluger and it fits 3 seats no worries. I have found the cars with the 'flat' backseats fit 3 carseats better than the ones that have curved seats (like a Ford Falcon for example).

I have a Hyundai Santa fe 7 sestet that fits three chairs, it has a lot of the features of the kluger but a lot cheaper.

We have a Mazda Tribute- it fits 3 seats across the back, but there is very little room to move.

We have a Ford Mondeo and squeeze 3 seats in that. DD in the capsule, DS1 in a half booster and DS2 in the normal kiddy booster.
I have been looking into 7seaters as well. Nissan have justed released a Dualis 7 seater at an affordable price and we are looking at the Avensis (2nd hand on carsales).
