Pregpan we have the Meridian and the good thing about it is it is rearward facing to 12 kgs. It is safer for them to travel that way - check out the posts on this topic here on bellybelly if interested.
We will graduate Flynn to a maxirider once Ollie needs the meridian - he is currently in a safen'sound capsule. we have a 2nd had maxirider for Flynn in my mums car and it is great.
Oh and another thing, a mate who was in the trafic ops division of Vic Police said in his experience kids are safest in capsules (if that is what you have got) for as long as they fit - ie: even if their legs are sticking out they are still safer in the capsule. An accident where the roof comes down and crushes their feet (apolofies for the awful image) are really rare/unlikely so it is better for them in the capsule for as long as their head/body fits.
