Cot Mattress

We bought an air-flow breathable mattress from the baby shop. That way if DS was ever face planted in the mattress he could still breathe through it.

As per my experience, one side of cot mattress should be water proof. because sometimes nappy can leak at night so if you have waterproof mattress there is nothing to worry.

Don't forget dustmites tho, a plastic side or mattress protector won't stop those little buggers =o)
