I am thinking that I will put The Stowaway straight into the cot (in my room) but whenever I tell people this they look at me funny.

Does it really matter, I have only heard that a bassinet would be warmer but I have a wooden cradle so slat sides just like a cot?

I am not silly am I, a cot is fine for a new born right.
