Undo the straps at the back and the cover should just unclip. Our seats have been washed, showered and gurneyed after a couple of chucky kids.

We wash ours constantly. They have been peed, vomited, pooed and who knows what else on. I just pull them apart and throw them in the washing machine and hang on the line to dry.
I have washed probably hundreds of car seat covers (because of my business!) and I just throw them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle. They are really easy and straight forward to get back on. When in doubt, take a photo of the straps at the back of the seat before taking it apart and then you can refer to it when putting it back on.
Great idea to take a picturethanks ladies, im a little more confident now
