Do Pram/Stroller Bumper Bars Deter Escapologists?

So my current pram is an old Steelcraft Strider that I've used for DD1 and DD2.

DD2 finds it really easy to get out of it. The straps are flimsy and there's no bumper bar.

While I let her walk if we're not going far, I miss walking for exercise. Trying to push the pram while holding her hand just doesn't work.

So I'm thinking maybe I should swap to a pram/stroller with a bumper bar. If I'm going to swap then I'd prefer one with pneumatic tyres as the walk to town is on light gravel rather than a footpath.

We have a BJ City Select and added on the bumper bar with an attached console...Moo loves it as he can put his little cars and snacks in it, play around with it all and is really happy to sit in the pram for an extended period of time He can get out of his carseat but has yet to try getting out of his pram harness.
