i found changing the curtains gave a real quick lift to the nursery without having to do anything drastic. I also bought some wall hangings. I went with the kidsline Camelot theme. It's a princess theme. I have seen both the Sofia and Gossamer lines. They are quite different. Both are girly and pink but Sofia is softer whereas Gossamer is bolder. Gossamer is a butterfly theme, Sofia is delicate and understated. Both are very nice, just personal preference. I always see the Gossamer set on sale at Toys R Us and there's lots on ebay.

I've got the Gossamer Wings linen for Ruby It's gorgeous!

I've also got a couple of other themes for when it's in the wash so at those times it's not quite so girly IYKWIM. Quite often I'll have a plain woolen blanket on the cot or I've got one with multi coloured stripes.

We painted a feature wall a dark lavender colour and have recently got some pink sheer curtains which aren't too over the top but still girly (got them from freedom furniture).

    Thanks all,

Lilias, I have some removable stickers up already as a border cute really they are teddy bear themed with little flowers - we do have a devil of a time getting them to stick though as we have internal lining boards and they are buckled because they are so old when it gets cold we find them peeling off

I found a website in America that sells a range of Kidsline products and one I have just fallen for is called "Lilac Garden" Its purple tones and butterfly theme, strong colours, pretty but not too bold. I think against the ivory tones of th ebedroom it will look nice.

I am looking at just the curtains, cot set and a couple of throw pillows which will help break up the room a bit more. I just hope it fits a boori size toddler bed/cot

    Thanks all for you suggestions

    greatly appreciated
