    Question Highchairs???

    Hi

I am starting to look at highchairs for my DS.

I have no idea on what to look for apart from the 5 point harness and one that has an adjustable height and a reclining seat.

Can you please tell me what highchair you are using and what you like/dislike about it.

    Thanks

We have a Fisher Price Ocean Wonders aquarium highchair and we think it's great.
    It has 8 height settings
    3 reclining settings
A pull out plastic tray for easy washing
And heaps of toys that all clip on for bub to play with while your preparing dinner.

Can you tell i love it
Oh, and it's been used for 2 of my 3 kids and still going strong.

Same chair here, very happy with it. Was a life save for us even before we had started solids. The recline funtion is great when they are little, saved us from getting a rocker, as I could place her in it and push her back and forth to help her have a nap.

We have the peg Perego Prima Pappa highchair and cannot fault it. Lots of height and reclining positions, a removable eating tray to leave a play tray there, and very easy clean. It can be set up and folded with one hand so easy to do if you are holding a baby or a plate of food.

We bought the Love 'n' Care one which is VERY similar to the Steelcraft high low chairs ( they look practically identical). So far so good - it's soft, DD sits well in it, has a good harness and has all the reclining positions. i also like the look of it - black and grey - no cutesie pictures!!

We also bought the Ikea Antelop on reccommendation from many Belly Belly girls but after lookign at it didn't think DD would be able to sit in it too well. It's extremely simple ( which is the appeal I think) and would prob be great for later on but I wasn't comfortable putting DD in such a simple chair that didn't recline or go up and down.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for your replies. I had been looking at the Ocean Wonders Aquarium one as we have the musical swing in this brand and we love it too. I'm just a little concerned about the size of it as we only have a small place to put it. Anyway I think I'll have another look around

Also has anyone found that bub has slid down in the high chair? Sage is only tiny and that also concerns me. I just don't want him to hit his face on the tray bit iykwim?

It folds up for easy storage

Macauley was tiny until he was 7 months and we never had a problem with him sliding down
