DD was born into an infernal, humid heatwave. She wore nappies. Sometimes a singlet. Not much mmore at night as it didn't cool down much.
If we went out I sometimes burdened her with a short-sleeve onsie.
pretty much the same as everyone else just a nappy and singlet or a singletsuit if we were going out but i got all my white singlets and suits tie dyed as they were funky to wear out lol
night time just a nappy and sometimes a singlet as we coslept bubba pretty much stayed warm with our body heat
Singlet suit by day and by night. The thinnest of muslin wraps when sleeping.
But we're in Brissie and don't have aircon. When we went to Melbs in summer, when DD was 5 weeks old, she wore short sleeve onesies and babylegs by day, or a singlet suit one really hot day, and at night just a wondersuit + singlet and her usual wrap.
I'm planning on minimal clothing here as we have horribly stinking hot summer - up to 40 degrees. I am thinking singlets/short sleeve no legs onesies for during the day and really light weight onesies at night. I'm a wrapper so during the day just a muslim material wrap and overnight the same wrap and maybe a light weight blanket depending on bub and weather. It's going to be so weird going from two winter babes where I had them rugged up to within an inch of their lives to a summer bub, LOL!
