Loved my Baby Jogger City Elite but wanted to be able to use it with a capsule and a toddler (seated) which it can't do so it's actually on the market I'm in Perth, not sure where you are (I'm on my phone), but let me know if you'd be interested in looking at a fantastic second hand 3-wheeler pram with loads of extras (including capsule attachments and the bassinet).

I bought the Baby Jogger City Select to replace my Elite so I can use the capsule for our second baby AND have my DD (2yo) in a seat as well. If my Elite could have handled my requirements, I wouldn't have bothered upgrading. The Elite is amazing and fits easily in a small boot. Google Baby Jogger Australia and watch the demos.

We have the SnS Meridian which fits fine in my Mazda 3 but it did have to be in the middle when rear facing (which is where we wanted it anyway) to give both driver and front passenger enough leg room. SnS Compaq would probably be a good option for limited room. The Meridian is great though. We looked at the Platinum as well but, from what I was told back then, the major difference was the built in speakers and iPod connectivity and for us personally, we thought that was a bit much in a car seat. I wasn't keen having music so close to their ears!!

Capsules - wish I'd got one the first time round! I bought a Maxi Cosi for this baby (and we are hoping for a third baby down the track) as it clips perfectly into Baby Jogger prams. The fit with my pram really dictated which capsule I'd get.

Cots - there is so much to choose from but it really just comes down to tastes. There are quite a lot on the market now where the side doesn't lower - all the cots sold at Babies R Us fall into that bucket (my mum works there). I personally fell in love with the Boori range so it was just a matter of picking a cot that we loved the look of King Parrot, the cheaper brand by Boori, have gorgeous cots too.

Good luck!
