Our DD is 22 months and still fits in it wellShe's been using it since she was 7 months old and sleeps really well in it.
The cot is at ground level (the base touches the ground) so although it's probably not as deep as a standard portacot, it's closer to the ground. I don't have any issues leaning DD into it though, especially now as she generally goes down awake and we don't need to ease her in, ITMS. It's never been an issue for us though
They are compact but DD doesn't mind one bit - she's always slept well in it. The last time we used it she was 20 months. We'll be using it for a holiday again in October when she'll be 25 months. We'll use it until she's 'trusted' in a normal bed on holidays(she's already in a toddler bed at home)
