Thanks Trish. Will do that but from the look of it I can't see how that would work - the base has a soft but rigid (cos that makes sense!!) plastic thing in it. I had a little play and it doesn't seem as if it would be too easy to really curve.

I had a look on the Amby website and see that I can buy components separately. How does the actual hammock part attach onto the arm? Wondering if it would be possible to buy just the fabric/sling bit and attach it onto the arm that the hushamok has, which would do away with my need to buy the Amby spring and arm (I think my DH would do his nut if I told him we had to buy all the stuff - will be enough of a job talking him into just the hammock bit)
