car seat.... cot.... easy...pram not so easy. !

i'm having difficulty choosing a pram and have been doing hours of research and still can't decide. i love the look of the strider 4 and had my heart set on it, plus a bonus, it's on sale at the moment, but the only thing thats putting me off is some peoples reviews that it is hard to walk on the road.
my inlaws live not to far away from us and we walk there often, and there is no footpaths and would hate to buy this pram if the wheels are difficult on the road.
i'm not really fussed on the look of the phil and teds prams (just a personal opinion) however i've read they're fantastic and everyone who has one says they wish they had of bought one to begin with.
are they really a great pram (P &T's) and do they handle the road as i like to go for walks.
if you have a strider 4 have you walked on the roads and found them hard.
any reviews on both would be appreciated.
