    thanks for your opinion Snoodaler! am personally still quite keen on the whole travel system and I reckon the strider dlx looks like the best option! being taller with short arms I particularly like the height adjustable handles, the safe and sound travel system has low handles which were really uncomfortable for me, really glad to hear you have found it easy to collapse etc

    It does lay back enough for him to go to sleep in but it doesnt lay back completely flat. If I was to get it for a newborn I would prob recommend the bassinette or capsule options. It has three settings almost flat, reclined and sitting up.
