Hi Jellybean. Our DS's are same age .I haven't used one but I checked them out. My issue would be no back support, I think they would get tired very quickly on it, my ds normally has snacks or a drink in his pram which he couldn't on the rider. I just brought a double stroller because I don't want to be restricted with the time I am out of the house or be pushing a pram and carrying a toddler. I don't even think he is quiet ready for a toddler seat. He still sleeps 2 hours a day and if he needs to have a sleep in the pram he can (not that he does very offen) but he often lays back, watching everything and just chills out. I couldn't see him sitting up balancing and holding handle bars. Well thats just my worth. Good luck with your decision.
