    Good Evening To All,

    The Target sale was great. I managed to pick up lots of bargains.. The $5 suits are great. I also managed to get the following:

    * 7pce set (so cute)
    * 3 pce set (the baby boots are fury bears just adorable)
    * Sesame Street Rocker
    *Sesame Street Cotton Baby wRAP
    * Yellow & White Duck burp bibs ($5.00)
    * White Cotton Baby wrap
    * 3 pkt newborn singlets (white & yellow)
    *Reversible Baby Wrap (yellow & white with ducks)
    I wanted to get the angelcare baby monitor but my husband wanted to have a look at i first!!

    i put a heap on layby. basically the whole nursery, pram and capsule. I spent just over a $1000 but the saving was actually $560. So im pretty happy with that... and that its all mostly done. Now they can look after it all until we move into the new place

    wasnt real sure on the change table but got it anyway and i figure i can exchange or refund later... cant I... can you do that with layby stuff????? I dont usually layby, but ive got nowhere to put it all at the moment, and i didnt want to miss out on the prices.

    and i took mum with me and she got us stuff too. clever me!

    anyone else?????

    Myson, in response to your question - I work at the Target in Townsville. Definitely can return the items. But you have to pay the entire layby out first, and then you can return/ exchange anything you want from it, just like you would any other refund. Change of mind returns happen all the time.
    Hope it helps!

    thanks mrs Mathews. i was hoping so. will decide in a few weeks when i pick it all up.

    Ali, i looked at the bright sparks swing but thought it looked a cheap and nasty, do you know anyone who has one? for $64 i will think about it a bit more but i would never pay full price for it.

    Vixstar, i like te idea of the Ikea antilop for the cleaning reason, but doesnt look really supportive or like it has straps either (ony ever seen pics) but does look so easy to clean!

    Nettie, thanks for the tip onn the suits. i was considering stocking up, but wil wait til i try them first.

    Fiona. no dbl in my store either.

    the website is great. I put everything i was interested in on the shopping list and printed it out. then i could check prices, tick off the list, and compare savings as i went. dh was impressed with the savings too!

    he said to me "how much did you spend today?" i said "no no hunny.. dont worry about that... ask me how much i SAVED today!"

    myson - The Ikea Antilop has a lap harness, I never use it though because there is no way DS2 could get out! (I never leave him unattended in it though ). You can buy a blow up cushion insert for $10 for smaller babies so they can sit up with more support. HTH

    No deposit layby? I went today and laybyed a whole heap of things, and the girl told me how much the minimum deposit came to so I paid a deposit...she never said I didn't have to! Oh well...I need it all fairly soon anyway.

    I got heaps of clothes, 2 nappy buckets, a 12pk of terry flats, a fisher price monitor and that's it I think. I was going to get a whole heap of those bonds easysuits but as I was stocking the trolley 2 different women piped up telling me they were rubbish and so hard to use on a newborn! So I only got 2, just to test

    HollyM - I think those Bonds easysuits are awful. You just about have to fold the baby in half to put them in & out of it. Very awkward. We only ever used the one we got given once... never again!

    ControlFreak - we must be pigeon paired somewhere... my BF in high school is now my SIL too! I married her brother (who used to pick us up from school ) ha ha ha

    Sounds like lots of you did some good retail therapy!

    ss_storm - If you go to the Target website you can view everything that's on sale, even things that aren't in the catalogue
