We just bought DD's bed yesterday with the plan of her going into it some time after Xmas - hopefully!!! We also bought a trundle bed so we figured she can go on that first because its muhc lower then work up to the big bed. The main reason is we have number 2 on the on the way and will need the cot but I won't rush DD - we can always borrow a cot for baby if we need to.
