awww thanks oli's mum for the good wishes with #2!

Glad to hear my enthusiasm helped convince you!

Its a nice thought that you are able to get some new exciting things for bub #2, especially as gift!

BTW you should see my photo collection of DD in the TTub! I go overboard anyway due to the digital camera being so easy to point and shoot but honestly, in the first few months, at least 50% of our shots of DD were of her in the Tub!

KrystieLove, maybe try ebay?? That's where we got ours, although they can be rare and therefore the price is close to retail sometimes.... however, that does suggest good resell value?

Jackrose - Good minds think alike... I've been watching ebay for a while now and you're absolutely right, so far they have all been close to retail. I figure I might as well buy it brand new and avoid the postage. Plus, it gives me another excuse to browse another baby store hehe

    Hi KrystieLove

If you look up the website (can't remember off the top of my head - just aussie google tummytub and it comes straight up), its the same price as babies galore and they will send it to you - not sure what the postage is - but they also list all the stockists so you may find one near you. I'm not sure if i am going to get the stand, at least you have the option to buy the bucket on its own. Enjoy - i'm going to!!

Thanks OIi's Mum! I'm not planning on getting the stand either. Bath time is going to be so fun!

Just another point - JIC you are not yet sold...
using the TT meant that all our family could be involved with the bath, as i mentioned in an PP, you can use the TT anywhere, so i would bath MJ in the lounge room and her Aunty and Uncle would delight in her sitting in the tub in the same room as them. When she was able to hold her head up, they would often sit with her and while i folded the washing, as they didnt need to hold her there was alot more confidence with bath time early on.

As i said i didnt get the stand, i think in the early days, when she was tiny, it would have been more useful, when she needed to be held (so she didnt slip under the water), but as i said, just sitting with it between your legs works just fine

Enjoy the TT and the experience, we certianly did
