    Good luck!

I've got a Nicola Cerini one which has been fabulous. You can check them out at her website - I picked mine up at the seconds sale so it was heaps cheaper.

just to get one thing straight. I soooo don't have the handbag gene. I HATE handbag shopping. So started reading all these comments about nappy bag brands i have NEVER heard of.. and i'm thinking, ok I must be from mars 'cos i really don't get this, and presumably you need the "bag" gene. Then I started googling the brands you've all been mentioning... wowowowowow!

I hadn't even THOUGHT about what i wanted to get. Had been offered a free 6 y.o. one from a friend that even I can tell is a little "daggy!". But you've all got me with the nappy bag bug and now I'm drooling!!! I'm thinking Jooki is gorgeous but ouch ouch on the $$. Like the look of the VanChi messenger (that green one is gorgeous!) and the Isoki. But here's a stupid question (sorry to hijack!), what's important in a nappy bag? Some seem to have cooler thingos and padded thingos - will I need all that?

    Belfie,

No worries about the hijack I am as clueless as you and that is a good question to ask - what is important to look for in a nappy bag????
I dont know why but having a nice looking nappy bag is important to me maybe its to still say to the world "hey I am a Mum but I can still look stylish!!!"

I am liking the storksak - going to check one out for real and then maybe try and track the cheapest one on the net. Any good sites recommended???

For me the important things are:
    * lots of pockets for nappies, wipes, creams etc plus one to fit my wallet
    * change pad because I don't like to use ones in the shops, so I put mine on top
    * external pocket for my mobile so I don't have to dig through the bag when it rings
    * d ring or hook of some sort so my keys don't end up in the bottom buried
    * cooler section for drinks when they get bigger (or for bottles if you FF)
    * a strap that will fit properly onto the pram
    * and of course something that looks great

I can't add anything to Sarah's list - my Vanchi (the green one) has all of those things - and it wears well too. It comes with a bottle holder thingy and one for dummies that is great. I use the bottle one for jars of food to take out and Im has a dummy so the dummy holder gets used. The exterior pockets are gareat for lippy and mobile phone.
