what is the best pram for small cars?

I had a Barina and most prams wouldn't fit in the boot. We ended up getting a Mothers Choice shopping stroller (I think that's what it's called). It has simple one action opening and closure and is easy to use in busy places like shopping centres as it's only about as wide as myself. It was also very cheap so it turned out very well for us. It has a generous shopping basket underneath and drink holders for bubs and for mum and dad.

This is the one I just looked at today and have thought might be what we get. We were willing to spend alot more, but now that its been recomended to me to get a sling/carrier, I think the functions of this stroller and its cheap price will be great. We`ll probably carry bubs a bit more, so what I was looking for before is probably not nessacary. As satya has said, its lightweight, folds up easy and compact, good deep basket etc.
One question for Satya about it though - how do u find the brakes? The display one in the shop impressed me except I was unsure how good and secure those brakes were...I thought perhaps it was just the display one...??

Maclarens also have a nice bright red one for same price at the moment at Big W I think?
I dont know if theres one of those nearby me...?

I have seen the skate in a mailer - it does look lovely and we were considering something similar - Ive no idea about it being the size etc you want.

Ladies, you are probably looking for a car seat that will fit compact cars as well. The one we got is available again in Big W right now. Yep, that's another issue with small cars - not all capsules will fit either. The Zuzu one we got is in Big W for around $120. We were lucky and got it for even less when it was on sale a while ago. It is perfectly safe - meets all the Australian Standards. It's made by IGC who make most of the better known (and more expensive) car seats with different branding. My FIL used to work for them and he says it just doesn't have all the bells & whistles that end up costing you heaps. We just added a cushion thing (also form Big W) so his head wouldn't lol about whilst he was newborn & it cost around $20. It was the only 100% Australian made capsule available on the market at the time we bought it & that's got to be a good thing.
