I had a Barina and most prams wouldn't fit in the boot. We ended up getting a Mothers Choice shopping stroller (I think that's what it's called). It has simple one action opening and closure and is easy to use in busy places like shopping centres as it's only about as wide as myself. It was also very cheap so it turned out very well for us. It has a generous shopping basket underneath and drink holders for bubs and for mum and dad.
We got rid of the Barina a week after I got home from hospital as once the pram and nappy bag went in the boot there was no room for shopping (or for all the presents we got everywhere we went). We had to put it in the back of the car which is dangerous and made it very overcrowded when my 5 yo step daughter came to stay. Ours was a 2 door so it was a little tricky leaning through to clip bubs in. We ended up with a family sized car and life is sooooooo much easier and we have loads of room in the boot with such a compact pram.
