The fact that they are minimal is what makes them worth it IMO.

They are lightweight, manoeuvrable and very well constructed. You get what you pay for - and that is quality.
Word to that Amy! Nice av too hun.

DS loves his, I don't know how anyone can say they are uncomfortable? He sleeps beautifully in his when we are out.

And they aren't minimal, so many other prams you have to purchase a bassinette attachment seperately, all in the one price when you purchase a Bugaboo.

Pregpan, I would love a double one day.

    Anyone own a Bugaboo Bee?

Shoegal my friend (who has had the Frog and the Chameleon) said she would NEVER buy a Bee because she didn't like the look of them. They were on holidays and they didn't have a pram so they went looking and she walked out with a yellow Bee!!

Her DS is nearly 3 and he loves it - he's much more comfortable in the Bee than in the Chameleon as he has much more room. She absolutely LOVES the Bee now! I think it's a better toddler pram and she said it's great for travelling because it's so compact.

    oohhh the bee looks fabulous!
I agree Mel there is no comparrison between the bug and the other prams like them!

Ours has taken a battering but its still the best thing we ever bought for DS!

We will probably get the wheelie boadr for when bub 2 comes along! anyone have one?

Amy - I like the one fold mechanism of the Bee. Yellow! The only colour to get for a Bee IMO.

Amber - I think we'll get the toddler board too.

Yeah i think we'll be getting the toddler board with the seat...

As per the 'uncomfortable' look of the bugaboo i find this hard to believe. DD would let us know, i doubt she would sleep so soundly and also and this is a BIG part of our choice when we bought the thing: the Bugaboo was designed with a physician to ensure that the design would have the childs development in consideration...

The bee looks sooo cool! and i agree no other colour than the yellow!! LOL!

i think they are expensive but i bought the steelcraft strider 3 and it was good but not wonderful. then we recently bought the urban mountain buggy. love it. sold the old strider on ebay for not much and it was virtually new. i guess buying a bugaboo to start with would have probably been better!! you get what you pay for and we're all about quality, no matter how much it is (within reason of course heehee!)
