    oohhh the bee looks fabulous!
I agree Mel there is no comparrison between the bug and the other prams like them!

Ours has taken a battering but its still the best thing we ever bought for DS!

We will probably get the wheelie boadr for when bub 2 comes along! anyone have one?

Amy - I like the one fold mechanism of the Bee. Yellow! The only colour to get for a Bee IMO.

Amber - I think we'll get the toddler board too.

Yeah i think we'll be getting the toddler board with the seat...

As per the 'uncomfortable' look of the bugaboo i find this hard to believe. DD would let us know, i doubt she would sleep so soundly and also and this is a BIG part of our choice when we bought the thing: the Bugaboo was designed with a physician to ensure that the design would have the childs development in consideration...

The bee looks sooo cool! and i agree no other colour than the yellow!! LOL!

well I ordered a bugaboo on friday, and will pick it up this afternoon.

For anyone interested, they are on sale at David Jones at the moment, however baby bunting will also price match

i think they are expensive but i bought the steelcraft strider 3 and it was good but not wonderful. then we recently bought the urban mountain buggy. love it. sold the old strider on ebay for not much and it was virtually new. i guess buying a bugaboo to start with would have probably been better!! you get what you pay for and we're all about quality, no matter how much it is (within reason of course heehee!)

just a question about the 2008 cameleons wheels which are supposed to be foam filled to reduce punctures, are they foam and air filled? (can you adjust the pressure with a pump?)

    thanks

I love the look of the bee... so gorgeous and it HAS to be yellow!
hmm still no double... we dont know what to do when this new bubba comes along. maybe the skateboards but i cant imagine DS on it, but maybe in 8 months... hmmmmm dilemmas!
IF we have to get another pram (double, maybe mt buggie) we are keeping Bugaboo for when we are solo with one baby or with one in sling and one in pram!

yeah maybe you could just stick it out for a bit with slinging it and the bug...

friends of ours are in the same position bubs is due in a few weeks and they still havent brought themselves to buy another pram!!

that said, the firstwheels city twin is pretty similar and seems to do great stuff...i recommend checking it out...

I just had a look at the firstwheels city twin after reading this and i agree it looks great. Definetly worth looking into if we required a twin.

just read a good review of it, they reckon it is good, just a bit heavy and quite wide...(80 cms...although this may be pretty normal).

c'mon bugaboo! bring one out!!!!!! LOL!

question about 2008 or 2009 model

    Hi girls,

I am pregnant with number one and due on May 1st. After much discussion with DH we have decided on a bugaboo cameleon. My question is this.....when is the 2009 model going to be released? I would purchase the pram tomorrow then but I'll be getting the 2008 model and if I'm spending that much then I should get the most recent model. Don't want to wait too long though as I know there is a bit of a wait. I realise that I may not find the answers on this forum but thought that you would all have some ideas as to which way to go.

    Thanks in advance.

    hi roses,

i have bought my stuff from bugaboo from babytrader (google the name and it should come up). it is THE netherlands store for all things bugaboo and they are generally cheaper or at least comparable to costs here. you are guaranteed to get the products faster and with more ease (ie no 6 month - if you're lucky) waiting time. although with the credit crash the exchange may have been impacted.

i recommend getting in early...otherwise if you have an overseas trip planned buy it then!! LOL! (that's what we ended up doing as the order we had in oz just never turned up!).

good luck and you so won't regret it!

I've ordered a Bugaboo because after extensively test-driving heaps of different brands and models in stores it was the only one I felt really comfortable with. The suspension is amazing! Image and brand-name didn't have any influence. If anything, I know I'll be embarrassed that people know how much i spent!

I ordered my Bug Cameleon on Saturday from Baby Bunting and they called today to say it was in stock already! (Today is Monday) I got a red one with grey base, but am very much looking forward to buying a pink/blue one once baby is born. I am very excited to get it as it was easily the best in the store and we drove a few. DH had great fun spinning it around.

Did you get canvas or fleece on top? We have the red topping and grey combo too, looks great! I have to fight DH to push the pram too. Enjoy your Bug.
