What theme did you choose for your nursery?

I am a little overwhelmed at all the different themes and wanted to get an idea on what other people choose for their theme.

I didn't find out what I was having when preg with DD so I went for a Pooh Bear theme. She loves it. Figured that way it didn't matter boy or girl.

Pooh bear, Winnie the Pooh Bear!! *sing*
We didn't find out what we were having and the Pooh theme is fairly neutral so went with that. We'll use it for number 2 as well and DS can upgrade to something really boyish.

I'm going with Zanzibar, because I love green, and I think the jungle animals are just too cute! (i've been told it's too boyish - but I think it would do for both... but I also know now that I am having a boy).

I think about what i'd like for a nursery often,it keeps me occupied until we do become pregnant. It'll need to be gender neutral as i won't want to know sex of bubs till it's born. So far i've come up with pale mint green walls & a teddy or pooh bear or baby animals or baby disney themes.

If we were to have a girl then at least pinks will go nicely with the green walls. Although i not a huge pink fan so i'd probably try t go with more purple/lilac colours for a girl.Otherwise after seeing other nurseries i might go with a nice cream colour for the walls & add some colour with the bedding & accessories in the room.

I love all these ideas. Pooh bear seems to be popular. I like the idea of keeping walls neutral and using those stick on things. I saw that silver lining Noahs Ark theme at babies Galore and thought it was absolutely gorgeous. I think animals can go for a boy or girl and are always so cute. I bet everyones nurserys are gorgeous!!!
