When did you wash bubs clothes?

Just out of curiosity - I am 31 weeks today. Do I qualify to wash bubs clothes yet? When did you pack your bags and gets bubs things organised by?

    I'd say go for it.

I planned to wash Sam's clothes when I finished work... that was at 35 weeks and I spent the first week focussing on other stuff... got to the day I had planned to wash clothing and found myself in labour giving birth at only 36 weeks!

We ended up packing bags, washing clothes and getting organised on the fly. Not fun!

I washed all my clothes at about 28wks. Baby bag is packed and I am about to start packing my bag today!

I would say wash them now, just in case you go early!Better to be safe than sorry!

I'd say the earlier the better too. You hear of so many stories like Butterfly Warriors. It doesn't hurt anyone to be prepared but it can cause unnecessary stress if you're not prepared.

I'm 23 weeks and our nursery is practically finished, we have all of the big stuff for Tarko and most of the little stuff too (including a weeks worth of newborn nappies). I plan on having everything organised for Tarko well before 30 weeks (including the washing) so I can focus on other things I want to get done around the house before I become a mum (such as cleaning out the cupboards, sorting out my wardrobe and putting all our photos into albums). I'm a very organised person so I actually find being organised in advance very theraputic. Some friends are stunned at how 'early' I have everything sorted but I don't see what the fuss is about. It's not hurting anyone, it will only make my third trimerster so much more relaxing!

i think i was about 31-32 weeks pg when i did DDs clothes. i still remember how amazing my washing line looked packed to the brim with all her beautiful clothes!

my bag was definitely packed by that stage too (oh except for all the essential day to day stuff like toothbrush etc)...of course i kept packing and re-packing right up until the day!!

I started washing clothes at 37 weeks and packed my bag by roughly 38 weeks.
