    Your Bouncer Recommendations Please!

    hi all

Just comtemplating the many bouncers/swings out there and was wondering what ones you have purchased and if you found it useful??

Would preferably like one that I can use from nb.....not really fussed on price but around $150 would be my limit.

Any suggestions about bouncers i will apreciate even if you dont have one and think they're useless!!

    Thanks in advance!!

I have the old fashioned bouncinette. It is a fabric mesh type that was around when we were babies! They are about $40 new or I bought mine secondhand for five dollars and baby just loves it. I like it because it doesn't vibrate, play music or flash lights! Also, it only moves when bub moves.

hi- i have a Maclaren brand rocker, which vibrates but is adjustable- folds quite nicely for storage, has a sunshade and over hanging toys, i used it from newborn and my DS LOVED it, the vibration wasnt like many others was just a light vibration which would send him of to sleep.. Also you can adjust it from laying down to sitting up, rocking or not (great for solid feeding) Think i paid around $120

    Good luck on your search

I used it from about 6-8 weeks only because I carried baby when she was awake- I never put her down on the floor or anywhere. However there is nothing to stop you using it from birth! Yes, they are a thin metal frame with a fabric netting across the entire bouncer, like an onion bag net! They are actually called Bouncinette.
